On Monday, January 14, we recorded the first episode of Men in Gorilla Suits. The topic: The Acceptability of Being an Adult Geek. There was a time when being a geek was something one wanted to avoid; now, though, geek culture is regular culture — it’s permeated everyday things to the point that what was once thought of as geeky is now normal.

We plan to record several more episodes before posting weekly. After listening to the first episode a couple times…it’s interesting and fun stuff! Our handful of beta listeners agree: in an hour’s time, we do a good job discussing the evolution of the outcast geek paving the way for fun cultural experiences most of us now share.
